Sliding Door

This door has the opening leaf sliding in a horizontal direction past another fixed half. (An option is to have four panels with the middle two sliding out to each side to make a even larger opening).

The sliding door is designed to open the space to a terrace or the backyard. Combined with a fixed panorama window sliding doors provide a perfect combination for a living area.

Options include:

  • Customised height and width
  • A range of handle colours

The specially designed gaskets (seals) ensure air tight closure and the in-house designed rollers support smooth operating and easy opening and closing.

A Multi-point locking system is utilised further enhances its security and has three individually adjustable locking points with opposing upper and lower lock points
to prevent the door from being lifted off its tracks. This system is tested to withstand over 1350kg of forced entry pressure.

Sliding Doors have an internal sliding timber flyscreen. For easy fitting and replacement the flyscreen rolls on an aluminium track.

Tip: The demand upon sliding door gaskets are extremely high over their lifetime. Prevention in air leakage and thermal penetration can only be ensured by a continuous gasket that tracks the whole perimeter of the frame without interruption. It is important to note the material of the gasket and the craftsmanship of the frame when comparing other products to Miglas.

French Door

This door has two opening leaves; an active and a slave which open to the outside (optional: inward opening).
French doors are designed to open the space to a terrace or the backyard and to give you the choice to open one leaf or two at a time.

High quality German engineered and manufactured multi-point locks and hinges provide smooth handling.
Five lock-points and two (or three) hinges on each leaf offer a superior solution for property security. For easy fitting and replacement the flyscreen rolls on an aluminium channel.
Both leaves have a handle for easy opening and symmetric look.

In combination with high quality gaskets for minimal air-infiltration, French doors satisfy the need of thermal efficiency.

This latest technology is the optimal solution to create clear lines for the building facade

Tip: Multi Point locks support thermal efficiency and maximum security. Check for air tight closure on the seals.

Centre-hinged Door

This door has a fixed door pane and an opening leaf which is hinged in the middle. The opening leaf folds back a full 180degrees and is a great cost effective alternative to a French door, or Sliding door system.
The centre-hinged door fulfils highest demands of energy efficiency.

Centre Hinged Doors have an internal sliding flyscreen door with an aluminium track insert for easy fitting and replacement of screen.

High quality German engineered and manufactured multi-point locks and hinges provide smooth handling.
Five lock-points and two (or three) hinges on each leaf offer a superior solution for property security. For easy fitting and replacement the flyscreen rolls on an aluminium channel.
Both leaves have a handle for easy operation and a symmetrical look.

Optional, German engineered high quality hinges, 3D-adjustable & non-visible are available.

Bifold Door

Bifold doors consist of two or more panels. These doors are hinged at one side and the panels are hinged together. The doors fold into one area providing a large uninterrupted view.

These multi-leaf doors AliClad double glazed doors feature specialised Miglas developed hardware and provide weather performance results far in excess of other Bifold products!

Wide openings are available with the multi-leaf design. Combinations of up to eight leaves are possible to create a smooth tansition from living room to terrace, balcony or garden.

Entry Door

It is the individual statement of an entry door that makes it so important. Miglas does only offer a a small range of entry doors and leaves this work to the entry door specialist were you can make your individual choice. As Miglas is concerned about security and insulation we do offer a fitting service for entry doors purchased somewhere else.

Please contact Miglas for further information on fitting your individual choice into the Miglas system. Ensuring an individual great look with the well known Miglas insulation and security values.

Note: It is important to have an entry door with a thicknesss of 45 - 47 mm.
