Every opening window has a built-in rebate for a flyscreen.
The optional fly screens are made to size with a customised finish.

Mesh Types

  • Fibre Glass
Fibre glass is the standard mesh in Australian homes and a durable and low maintenance options. It is the suitable and effective the solution for most projects.
  • Aluminium Mesh
The aluminium screen has slightly better fire retardant characteristics. The material is susceptible to scratching and denting and not a recommended mesh type.
  • Stainless Steel Mesh
Stainless steel is one of the most durable screen materials available and is highly recommended in bushfire prone areas. Toughened glass and structurally stable, fire retardant timber is a secure option for all bushfire areas.
  • Invisi-Gard™
This screen combines the strength of stainless steel (316) and the flexibility of aluminium frame without compromising the views. It secures the home from intruders and resists corrosion. This option is only available for sliding and hinged doors.

Note: Sliding and centre hinged doors have the option of a self closing timber flyscreen (sliding) with different mesh options. Ask the Miglas team for details.

All flyscreen frames are powder coated to compliment your window hardware or decor.
